Doni Nicole is a New York–based R&B and soul singer-songwriter, performer, and entrepreneur whose sound blends soulful storytelling, gospel roots, and contemporary R&B. Known for her powerful vocals and engaging stage presence, she brings her artistry to life through The Doni Nicole Experience (The DNE).

In 2026, Doni Nicole charted on Billboard with “New Joy 2,” reaching #23. Most recently, she performed background vocals as part of the choir for acclaimed musician Cory Henry and took the stage at New York City’s legendary SOB’s, where she opened the show with her original music before providing background vocals for Michael E.

Her catalog includes “Love Affair,” which reached #1 on iTunes and Amazon, and her music has received airplay and remixes across major radio platforms and stations, including iHeartRadio, WBLS, Power 105.1 FM, and WPAT.

Throughout her career, Doni has performed and provided background vocals alongside acclaimed artists including Patti LaBelle, the late Cissy Houston, Regina Belle, Judith Hill, BET’s Sunday Best Season 6 winner Tasha Page-Lockhart, Cheryl Pepsii Riley, Melonie Daniels, Kimberly Davis of Chic, Chinah Black, and Chaz Shepherd.

Doni made her acting debut in 2012 in Mama, I Want to Sing! alongside Ciara, Lynn Whitfield, and Patti LaBelle.

Beyond music, Doni is the entrepreneur behind Doni Nicole Hair & Makeup, providing professional hair and makeup services within the entertainment industry. Her credits include Melonie Daniels, Latonya Blige-DaCosta, and members of Burna Boy’s team, providing makeup services for his singers and dancers surrounding his historic sold-out “One Night in Space” concert at Madison Square Garden.
